About me

My name is Cathrine Plischewski.
I am a hairdresser and agronomist, I study organic agriculture, and I am the owner of Kennel AiCamin.
I'm 39 years old and live in Trondheim, Norway. Here I live in a house in the forest with my cat and two briards.

I was born and raised with briards within our household, but I also had bearded collies and a rough-haired dachshund. However, my heart has always been with the briard. I got my first own briard when I was 20 years old. It was Troy, a male fawn.

I spend all my free time on my dogs. Most of what we do is herding, showing and of course hiking. Often with a kickbike and two crazy briards in the front.

It is very important to me to breed social and happy dogs with functional working characteristics, as well as an exterior standard.
Even though I've had briards all my life, I'm quite new in the breeder game.
I believe in always educating myself further, therefore I have attended Breeder School 1 & 2 under the auspices of the Norwegian Kennel Club.

As a breeder, I care that "my" dogs go to the most suitable homes there is. The briard is a large and sometimes demanding breed, so it is important that you, as a puppy buyer, familiarize yourself with the breed's needs and areas of use. I will always be available for advice and help, and greatly appreciate updates from you and your new puppy.

Kennel AiCamin follows the Norwegian Briard and Picard Club's rules and recommendations for breeding. My breeding animals will always be approved, so you as a buyer can be sure that I do my utmost to breed healthy and healthy briards.

I have Agria Breeding Insurance that covers hidden faults and defects for up to 5 years. If you buy a puppy from me, I would very much like you to have HD X-rays at 1 year of age and undergo a MH (mental test) and/or an NHAT (natural herding aptitude test).
Owning a briard is a lifelong commitment and I reserve the right to choose buyers. :)
